Bookings

We have both male and female chiropractors, all of whom are experienced in caring for babies and children, professionals, and the elderly. Appointments consist of an initial visit and report followed by three stages of care: repair, remodelling and life enhancing.

We promote a wellness lifestyle and work towards educating the local communities to improve quality of life for people of all ages and lifestyles.

Booking by phone – Initial Interview Appointments

When booking your initial interview by phone you will be asked to provide a valid credit card to hold your appointment. Please note that no charges will be made to your credit card unless you do not attend your appointment or cancel with less than 24 hours notice (please see cancellations section below).

After your Initial Interview, you will be able to pay for your services with your choice of Visa, MasterCard, debit or cash. We do no accept American Express. If you don’t have a credit card, you can pre-pay for your services in cash to hold your appointment. Once you attend your appointment, your credit card details will be removed.

Confirmations

Once your appointment has been secured, an information pack will be emailed to you. This will include a confirmation letter and the health questionnaire/consent form that we require you to fill in and email back to us prior to your appointment.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your appointment please call us at least 24 hours in advance. Any cancellations with less than 24 hours notice (or unattended appointments) will result in full charges on your credit card (or the equivalent deduction from gift vouchers).

Appointment Reminder by Email

Please let us know if you need help remembering your appointment. We now offer appointment reminders by email 24 hours in advance.

Important

Although our reminder system does send out reminder emails 24 hours in advance, the system can sometimes fail and this is out of our control. We recommend that patrons note the date/time of their appointments through other means.

Initial interview

Your Initial Interview Appointment is an introduction to our practice, your chiropractor and how chiropractic can help you. When you arrive, you will be greeted by a member of our team and invited to relax in our comfortable welcome area. Hopefully you will have received your forms via email, but if you have been unable to fill them out, you will have time to do this now.

Next it is time to meet your chiropractor! This includes a thorough neurological, postural and chiropractic check, as well as the chance to discuss your full health history and any health problems or concerns you may have. Should x-rays be indicated, we have a digital x-ray suite onsite.

The purpose of your Initial Interview is to learn more about you and your health expressions in order to determine how chiropractic care can help you. You will be invited back for a complimentary Report of Findings visit, during which you will receive a written report, all findings are outlined to you and any recommendations for care are given.

Report of findings

Your second visit to us is a complimentary thirty minute appointment as soon as possible after your Initial Interview.

Your chiropractor will present you with a detailed summary of what they have found, including recommendations to help you achieve your health goals. If you had x-rays during your Initial Interview your chiropractor will show these and discuss them with you.

Providing you are suitable for chiropractic care, you will be given a recommended care schedule. As we know this can sometimes feel like a lot of information to take in, everything is summarised in a written report for you to take home and keep.

At this point, should you choose to come into care with us, we invite you to have your first chiropractic adjustment which will incur an adjustment fee charge. Each adjustment takes about five minutes, giving you the time to continue with the rest of your day.

Stages of care

During your care, our team will do everything they can to accommodate you and make sure that you can focus on your own wellness in a stress-free and relaxing environment.

There are three stages of care, based around the wellness period.

On every 10th adjustment in a course of care, you will have a full review and health chat. This allows the chiropractor to make sure your health is on track to determine which stage of care is right for you and that they are doing everything they can to work with you to reach optimal wellness.

The Repair Phase is the first level of care and is based on the healing time of tissue. Symptoms often abate well before healing has completed therefore a time frame of care that reflects this ‘tissue healing time’ is crucial.
The aim of the Repair Phase is to actively balance neurological interference that contributes directly to your health concerns. Your chiropractic adjustments will help in facilitating your body’s innate healing for you to begin to adapt more effectively and efficiently to the stressors in your life.

You will often move onto the Remodelling Phase after 6 weeks to 18 months. This phase allows your body to continue healing in order to reach your desired level of health.

The Life Enhancing Phase allows you to continue caring for your health as an improved version of yourself and continue living well through a healthy lifestyle and regular maintenance chiropractic adjustments.
